Motivated and talented teams!
With the outstanding involvement of Mrs. France David, Volunteer Resources Management Agent at Ste. Anne’s Hospital (SAH) and, by virtue of a Federal grant for senior volunteers, veterans now have access to remarkable “green” terraces!
We previously unveiled some of their achievements in a newsletter and we are proud to present to you, this month, the brand new flower box made entirely by the SAH team. Conceptualized by Mr. Yves Leroux, who divides his time between the SAH woodworking shop and physiotherapy clinic, and assisted by two talented volunteers: Mr. Anton (Toni) Rueberer, an 89-year-old retired engineer, and Mr. Maurice Lauzon, a generous individual who has been a part of the SAH community for many years. This magnificent flower box has a watering system and solar lights.
We would also like to highlight the invaluable contribution of the Recreations team, who worked diligently to offer refreshed, safe, and serene outdoor spaces with the addition of specialized chairs, a fountain, a pergola, a screen to provide shade and protection from the sun, and much more. It is extraordinary what these motivated employees have achieved, and we are thrilled to have funded a project to encourage our veterans. It is a beautiful and peaceful living environment they will enjoy during the summer and fall.
Thank you so much for investing your precious time in providing beautiful green environments for the veterans of Ste. Anne’s Hospital!
